Shelley Wollert is a writer, actress, musician, and illustrator who has performed for families as the Arctic pioneer Elska since 2012. Her album “Middle of Nowhere” won the Parents Choice Silver Medal, NAPPA Honors, and included the hit “Click Click” that reached #1 on Sirius XM’s leading children’s music channel, ranking above mainstream hits. Elska has performed in Canada, UK, Iceland, and throughout the US in such notable spaces as Brooklyn’s BAM, Manhattan’s Symphony Space, and Massachusetts’ Mass MoCA Museum.

She lives in the Hudson Valley of New York.
